I am seeing constant communications from the remote to the site ins-9fciednc.ias.tencent-cloud.net. They are occuring even when I am not actively using the remote.
Why is the remote communicating externally to this site and is there a way to disable the communications?

Thank you for raising this — it’s a very good question, and transparency here is important.
The domain you are seeing:
ins-9fciednc.ias.tencent-cloud.net
is part of Tencent Cloud Bugly, which we use as a log reporting and crash analysis service.
This service is only used for:
collecting anonymous system logs
detecting crashes or abnormal behavior
helping our engineers diagnose firmware or application issues remotely
It does not perform any device control or remote access.
Security & Privacy ClarificationPlease rest assured:
This is simply cloud storage space purchased from Tencent for error log analysis.
The AIKS identifier you see belongs to Sanytron and is used only to identify our application instance.
We do NOT collect:
Home Assistant usernames
Home Assistant passwords
Home Assistant tokens
personal automation data
No Home Assistant authentication information is transmitted.
We previously added a log reporting enable/disable option, however it is possible that due to a program issue the reporting service may still attempt background communication even when not actively using the remote.
I will have our engineer review this behavior and correct it in an upcoming update.
Can it be disabled?Yes — users can turn off log reporting at any time, and we will also verify that the disable switch works correctly in future firmware.
