I have my remotes set to auto turn off the screen at 1 minute and this was working before. With the latest release the screen turns off and immediately back on and never stays off. The remote is flat on a table when this happens so it is not happening due to wake on lift being on.
Have you tried toggling the settings off and then back on again?

Regarding the screen behavior you mentioned, we recommend checking the following two points:
1. Screen waking up after being locked
Please check whether the “Raise to Wake” feature is turned on. If enabled, certain movements when placing the device down might accidentally trigger the screen to turn on.
2. Screen not turning off automatically
Could you please confirm whether you are using “Timeout” or “ScreenLock”?
Please note: If you have selected “ScreenLock”, the screen will not turn off automatically. To have it turn off after a period of inactivity, you need to set a duration under the “Timeout” settings.
