I have just been away and came home and found my remote wanting to install an update which it did. It booted to the home screen and as soon as I touched a button it went into a crash llop of the Sanytron apps keep closing and android telling me they were repeatedly crashing. I tried to restart the remote but it just died. Holding the power button for 20 seconds does nothing and the screen is dead, its been charging all day so i assume its not battery related. What do i do next please?

Could you please let us know which version you upgraded to? Is the screen able to turn on now?
If the screen can turn on, we recommend trying a factory reset. Please refer to this video for the step-by-step instructions:
Also, if the screen is completely unable to turn on, please send us a screenshot of your order number along with a video showing that holding the side power button does not turn the device on. Please email these to support@sanytron.com so we can proceed with the next steps.

I’ve replied by email, but for anyone else. It was whatever the latest version was on 17th Sept. We had been away on hols, came back and picked the remote up and it said an update was waiting to be installed so I just installed it and walked away. Didn’t really pay any attention to it. It updated fine, then when I clicked a button to turn our lights on it crashed the HA software repeatedly with messages from android asking to close the app.
Tried to reboot the remote and it never recovered.
Power button does nothing, no screen life.
I sent my order number via email but haven’t had an update yet on what happens next. Do I return to for repair or what please?
