Dear community,
Our team is currently conducting preliminary research on local infrared (IR) control for Astrion Remote.
We are pleased to share that early testing results on set-top boxes have been highly successful, demonstrating stable and reliable infrared control performance in initial scenarios.
Based on these findings, infrared support will be formally incorporated into the Astrion development roadmap. However, due to the complexity of television ecosystems and the broader compatibility requirements across infrared-based devices, the full implementation and official release will be scheduled for a later stage.
We would like to emphasize that IR integration involves a wider range of products and technical considerations beyond set-top box control, and therefore will be developed and released progressively.
Upcoming Update
In addition, we will proceed with a regular iterative development update next week. The detailed update content and release schedule will be officially announced at that time.
