Yes :laughing: , you absolutely can develop custom applications for the UltraBar X! This is a core part of our product ecosystem.:smiling_face:

The UltraBar X runs on “LineOS,” a deeply customized operating system based on Android. This means, in theory, any developer familiar with Android development can create apps for the UltraBar X and distribute them through our app store.

We are actively preparing and plan to gradually release an official SDK (Software Development Kit). This SDK will include:

  • UI Adaptation Guidelines & Component Library for the bar display, ensuring your app looks perfect on the ultra-wide screen.
  • API interfaces for hardware modules, enabling your app to interact with the VivoCube buttons, DialKey knobs, SenseCube sensors, and more, achieving true software-hardware integration (For example, you could assign a dedicated physical key to your timer app).
  • Detailed documentation and sample code.
