However, we have prepared a robust hardware-level solution for you that works flawlessly with any Mac equipped with a wired Ethernet port.
Here’s how it works:
- Core Hardware: The key is our CoreBar Intelligent Control Hub module. It’s not just a controller, but a mini-computer with its own independent network connection.
- Connection Method: The CoreBAR connects to your local network via a universal, driver-free USB-C to Ethernet adapter. This is a plug-and-play solution that provides the CoreBAR with a much more stable and reliable network channel than Wi-Fi, connecting it directly to your local router. Crucially, your Mac must also be connected via an Ethernet cable to the same network.
- Execution Process: When you press the “Engine Start” key on your UltraBar X, the CoreBar sends a special “Magic Packet” to your Mac’s unique network address.
- One-Time Setup: You only need to perform a simple, one-time setup on your Mac: enable “Wake for network access” or “Wake On Lan” in
System Settings > Network > [Your Network Service] > Details... > Hardware.

What about Macs without an Ethernet port?
