Hi, I just tested this. My main network and Home Assistant are both on the 110 subnet (HA IP: 192.168.110.245). My Astrion remote and my phone are both on the 0 subnet, which is a subnetwork of 110. When I entered the HA IP on the 110 subnet along with the Token, I was able to log in without any issues. Is this what you were aiming for?
Hi, no, the remote itself when inputting the IP or hostname for the Home Assistant instance connects fine. I can see the cards etc as expected on the remote.
I’m talking about the adding of the remote to the Astrion Home integration. After installing the integration via HACS, you then add the integration and it does a discovery, which fails. My belief looking at logs is that this is because the integration is looking for the remote and isn’t multi-subnet aware - rather than looking for a token to check in as advised above. The error message even states “make sure it’s on the same LAN”, which as I said, it’s not as it’s on a separate VLAN and subnet - not just a different subnet on the same VLAN.
Quick question — does the account linked to your remote’s login token have admin rights?
If it’s a standard user account, could you try upgrading it to admin? Once you do, restart the remote (it’ll log back in automatically), and then give the connection another shot. Let us know if that resolves it!

Sorry I created confusion.
The outcome I am hoping for is when I turn on my theatre mode (let’s say via Google) I want to be able trigger the Astrion remote to open the TV card which is located on “room:main” from navigation action via the Sanytron integration in HA. When I go to the tv card, it’s still being reported on astrion in HA as “room:main”
Is there a way to make the astrion open the TV card?

I found the root cause… if you don’t enter a device name on the TV card it doesn’t show the device in Astrion HA when you are on that card as a device.
Would recommend making the device name field compulsory or alternative another way of identifying the device for purpose of showing device on HA astrion.
The way device name is handled for TV cards came up in question/issue I had: Background Images for view and other cards besides TV - #12 by Leewei
In my case I was trying to not have the device name drawn along with my background images…was able to do it by setting the device name to all blanks but as you found out that messes up accessing that device/view. Hopefully they find a way to make the device name optional but still allow access via navigation actions, etc.

I downloaded the 1.42 pre-release from HACS and noticed the options for hiding the name and icon were there… Seems to work so far
