As of late I have noticed my Astrion just randomly losing wifi connection…usually takes a few minutes for it to reconnect. I have not changed anything with regards to the wifi settings. Just last night while watching TV i went to adjust volume and it had disconnected…had the window that said no views, etc…took probably 5min of waiting for it to finally reconnect and sync.
I just set mine up and it is basically unusable due to constantly disconnecting. The signal is very strong and I run a robust UniFi network and no other device has any issues. I will be returning unfortunately.
Hello,
We are truly sorry to hear about this issue and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
I have already contacted our relevant technical team to analyze this problem.
If you would like to proceed with a return, please contact our after-sales support email at support@sanytron.com. We will arrange a dedicated specialist to assist you with the process.
We are deeply sorry once again for the frustration this has caused you.
Hmm, I also run a well setup Unifi Network…coincidence?
- I have separate SSID for 2.4g and 5g.
- RSSI signal strength for the Astrion is ~-42dBM
- All other wifi devices work fine.
The issue appears to be when the device screen turns off. It was on the charger all night (with the screen off) and it stayed disconnected for almost 12 hours. I turned off the screen timeout and the screen lock and it stays connected. Obviously I don’t want to have to leave the screen on forever because the battery drain.
I too am experiencing this issue. My remote refuses to stay connected to any of my Unifi based networks. I even created a separate network and disabled most of the advanced features. Nothing works.
After the wifi disconnects it refuses to reconnect until after I reboot the remote.
Edit: I have tested with a GL-iNet travel router. I haven’t seen the remote disconnect since connecting it to this device. It seems the H100 doesn’t seem to like my Unifi APs.
I have Unifi gear and the same issue
I use Unifi, I have had a few disconnects but not that many. Certainly does not make the remote un-useable over any period of time.
Hello everyone,
We truly appreciate all the detailed feedback you have shared with us. I have already forwarded this situation to our engineers, and we hope this will greatly assist in resolving the WiFi problems.
Thank you once again for your patience and cooperation.
Hello everyone,
Last week, we released a gray (beta software) upgrade specifically designed to address WiFi disconnection issues. After analyzing the data, we found that one user’s network environment is extremely effective at reproducing the WiFi disconnection problem, which is highly valuable for us in pinpointing the issue.
Since our backend cannot directly identify which user participated in this test, we would like to sincerely ask:
If you were one of the users who participated in the gray version upgrade last week, we kindly request that you perform the upgrade again.
The upgrade process and password remain exactly the same—the password is still 6102.
We are now very close to identifying the cause of the WiFi disconnection issue. Your continued cooperation is crucial to us.
Thank you so much for your understanding and support!
